PTFE-Equivalent at Lower Cost Than Exotic Alloys
FLC fluoropolymer lining achieves PTFE-equivalent resistance at a significantly lower purchase and replacement cost than Hastelloy, tantalum, or nickel alloy pump construction for compatible duties.
PVDF / FEP / PFA lining · PTFE-equivalent resistance · Up to 200°C · Up to 200 M³/hr
The FLC Series fluoropolymer lined chemical pump from Shubham Industries, Ahmedabad, lines all pump wet parts with PVDF, FEP, or PFA - fluoropolymers with chemical resistance equivalent to PTFE. The FLC handles aggressive, corrosive, or toxic media that attack stainless steel, polypropylene, rubber, and alloy construction at temperatures up to 200°C, with or without abrasive slurries, at flows up to 200 M³/hr and heads up to 100 MWC. FLC is a cost-effective alternative to exotic alloy pump construction for duties within fluoropolymer chemical compatibility. Manufactured at Kuha, Ahmedabad, Gujarat - ISO 9001:2015 certified since 1987.

Why Fluoropolymer
PVDF, FEP, and PFA are fluoropolymer linings selected when chemical resistance must approach PTFE-equivalent performance. These linings protect pump wet parts from aggressive acids, halogens, toxic media, and elevated-temperature corrosive duty where stainless steel, rubber, or polypropylene may not be suitable.
FLC fluoropolymer lining achieves PTFE-equivalent resistance at a significantly lower purchase and replacement cost than Hastelloy, tantalum, or nickel alloy pump construction for compatible duties.
PVDF is commonly specified for aggressive acid and halogen duty. FEP supports aggressive solvents and elevated temperature service. PFA provides the highest fluoropolymer performance.
The FLC is rated for aggressive media with or without abrasive slurries up to 200°C, combining chemical resistance, abrasion tolerance, and temperature capability.
Configure FLC Series
Select the fluoropolymer lining, liquid duty, temperature range, and abrasive content for the FLC series. Final confirmation depends on chemical compatibility, temperature, and site conditions.
Available Arrangements
FLC arrangements are selected around liquid compatibility, abrasive solids, drive type, and site installation.
PVDF lined flange-mounted chemical pump for aggressive acids, halogens, and oxidising agents.
PFA lined pump for maximum fluoropolymer performance and severe chemical duty.
PTFE/FEP lined arrangement for aggressive solvents, acids, and elevated temperature duty.
Custom arrangement on request
Custom fluoropolymer lined process arrangements are confirmed around chemical, temperature, and site details.
Technical Specifications
The FLC Series handles flows up to 200 M³/hr and heads up to 100 MWC with PVDF, FEP, or PFA fluoropolymer lining. It is specified for aggressive, corrosive, or toxic media up to 200°C within confirmed chemical compatibility.

PVDF, FEP, and PFA have different chemical resistance profiles. Confirm chemical name, concentration, abrasive content, and temperature before ordering.
Applications
The FLC Series is used where chemicals are too aggressive for stainless steel, polypropylene, or rubber and where exotic alloy pump construction is not practical. It is selected for aggressive acid, halogen, toxic, and elevated-temperature chemical duties.
Highly concentrated acids including HF, HCl, fuming sulphuric acid, fuming nitric acid, and mixed acids. Confirm concentration, temperature, and lining grade.
Fluorine-bearing chemicals, chlorinated solvents, bromine compounds, strongly oxidising acids, and agents where PVDF/FEP/PFA compatibility is confirmed.
Toxic chemicals requiring a PTFE-equivalent barrier in specialty chemical, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical service.
Hot corrosive solutions and high-temperature process chemicals up to 200°C, beyond the service temperature of rubber and many standard polymers.
Corrosive and abrasive combined duty where suspended particles and chemical attack occur together at elevated temperature.
Duties previously specified with Hastelloy, tantalum, or nickel alloy construction where fluoropolymer compatibility is confirmed.
Not all chemicals are within fluoropolymer compatibility; PVDF, FEP, and PFA each have specific limits. For acids and chemicals within rubber compatibility at smaller flow, specify RLC. For solid polymer construction at lower temperature, specify HPP. For hygienic food/pharma GMP duty, specify SCS. Always confirm chemical name, concentration, and temperature before ordering.
Selection Guide
The FLC is correct when PTFE-equivalent fluoropolymer lining is required for aggressive chemical duty, elevated temperature, or chemicals beyond rubber and many metallic material limits.
RLC uses rubber lining on cast iron for abrasive acid slurry duty at 10-40 M³/hr and up to 20 m head. FLC uses PTFE-equivalent fluoropolymer for the most aggressive media at 200°C, up to 200 M³/hr, and 100 MWC.
View RLC SeriesHPP uses solid injection-molded PP, PVDF, or UHMWPE construction for lower temperature duty. Choose FLC for higher temperature, higher aggression, or PTFE-level resistance.
View HPP SeriesFLC fluoropolymer lining provides chemical resistance equivalent to PTFE for compatible chemicals at a lower cost than exotic alloy construction.
Discuss FLC SelectionBPC covers chemical duty in metallic MOC and large process flows. For chemicals beyond metallic compatibility, FLC fluoropolymer lining provides the chemical barrier.
