Back Pull-Out Chemical Pumpto DIN 24255/6 and ISO 2858 for Chemical and Process Duty

DIN 24255/6 · ISO 2858 · Back pull-out design · Up to 2500 M³/hr · Up to 180 m head

The BPC Series back pull-out chemical pump from Shubham Industries, Ahmedabad, is a horizontal end-suction centrifugal pump built to DIN 24255/6 and ISO 2858, the global dimensional standard for industrial process and chemical pumps. The back pull-out design allows the complete rotating assembly, including impeller, shaft, mechanical seal, and bearing bracket, to be removed from the rear of the pump without disconnecting suction or delivery pipework. This makes seal and impeller maintenance practical in chemical plant environments where connected pipework cannot be disturbed. The BPC handles clear water, volatile chemicals, acids, alkalis, slurries with solids up to 15 mm, pulp stocks up to 5% consistency, and temperatures up to 200°C with application-specific material selection. Manufactured at Kuha, Ahmedabad, Gujarat; ISO 9001:2015 certified since 1987.

Back Pull-Out Design

Why the BPC Back Pull-Out Design Matters for Chemical Plant Maintenance

A back pull-out pump is a centrifugal pump where the rotating assembly, including impeller, shaft, mechanical seal, and bearing bracket, withdraws axially from the rear of the casing without disturbing suction pipework, delivery pipework, or flanged connections.

DIN 24255/6 and ISO 2858 define the dimensional standard for industrial end-suction centrifugal pumps. This makes the BPC suited for process plants where maintenance access, standard footprints, and pipework stability matter.

1

Maintenance Without Pipework Disturbance

In process plants, suction and delivery pipework is fixed into structures and often lagged. The BPC back pull-out design withdraws the rotating assembly from the rear, giving seal and impeller access without moving pipework or disturbing flange alignment.

2

DIN/ISO Dimensional Interchangeability

The BPC is dimensionally compliant with DIN 24255/6 and ISO 2858. This supports like-for-like installation planning and reduces spares complexity where DIN/ISO process pumps are already installed.

3

Wide Duty Range, One Platform

A single BPC platform covers water, volatile chemicals, acids, alkalis, corrosive slurries with solids up to 15 mm, pulp stocks up to 5%, and temperatures up to 200°C with application-specific MOC selection.

Configure BPC Series

Select Your BPC Duty and Material Requirements

BPC pump selection is based on duty type, flow, head, liquid temperature, and chemical compatibility. These determine the correct MOC, seal type, delivery bore, drive, and supply arrangement.

When BPC May Not Be the Right Choice

For liquids attacking all metal alloys, specify HPP or FLC after compatibility review. For thermic fluid or hot oil above 200°C, specify TFC. For very large volume above 2500 M³/hr, confirm with engineers because higher capacity is on request. For compact inline installation, specify ILC. Always confirm chemical compatibility and MOC with engineers before ordering.

Selection Guide

BPC Back Pull-Out Pump vs Other Shubham Pump Series

The BPC is the correct specification when DIN/ISO interchangeability, back pull-out maintenance access, and wide chemical duty range are required together.

Choose by duty

BPC vs SCC - DIN/ISO Back Pull-Out vs Stainless Industrial Centrifugal

Both BPC and SCC handle chemical and process liquids where stainless construction is compatible. BPC is built to DIN 24255/6 and ISO 2858, offering back pull-out maintenance, slurry and pulp capability, and temperature to 200°C. Choose BPC when DIN/ISO compliance, back pull-out access, or slurry duty is required.

Choose by duty

BPC vs HPP - Metallic Back Pull-Out vs Full Polymer for Acid Duty

BPC uses application-specific metal construction. HPP uses full polymer wet-end construction with no metal in contact with liquid. Choose HPP when the liquid attacks all metal alloys; choose BPC when a compatible metal MOC can be confirmed.
