For temperature above 50°C, special seal and bearing options may be required. Share liquid, temperature, flow, head, and site conditions before final selection.
Applications
SCC is used where stainless-steel construction, smooth rolled surfaces, and configurable connections are useful for transfer duty. Suitability must still be checked against liquid chemistry, viscosity, temperature, MOC, and duty point.
For hygienic sanitary transfer, also review the SCS sanitary pump and LBX lobe pump depending on cleaning method, viscosity, shear sensitivity, and connection requirement.
SCC is not self-priming and is not for submerged installation. For viscosity above 1500 cP, consider EGX/IGX gear pumps or LBX lobe pumps. For aggressive chemicals such as concentrated HCl, H2SO4, or HF, CPP or FLC series may be more suitable. For self-priming duty, use SPM or SPA. For submersible duty, use OWS.
