Pressure Stabilisation
The bladder compresses during each pressure peak and expands between strokes to keep downstream pressure near constant.
Bladder / diaphragm type · Up to 300 Bar · SS / MS / PP · Rubber / PTFE bladder · Up to 200 Ltr
The PDP Series pulsation dampener from Shubham Industries, Ahmedabad, is a bladder or diaphragm-type pressure vessel designed to absorb pressure fluctuations generated by reciprocating pumps: plunger pumps, diaphragm pumps, and dosing-metering systems. Installed in the pump discharge line, the PDP bladder compresses during each pressure peak and expands during the low-pressure phase between strokes, smoothing pulsating discharge into near-steady flow. Rated up to 300 Bar in SS, MS, and PP construction with rubber or PTFE bladders, vessel volumes up to 200 Ltr are available. PDP protects downstream instrumentation, flow meters, and pipework from pulsation damage and vibration. Manufactured at Kuha, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, ISO 9001:2015 certified since 1987.

PDP Series proof points
The PDP Series is a pulsation dampener, a fluid system accessory that must be installed with a reciprocating or positive displacement pump system. It does not generate flow or pressure independently.
HOW IT WORKS
Every reciprocating pump delivers flow in pulses. A pulsation dampener absorbs each pressure peak and releases stored energy during the low-pressure interval, converting pulsating discharge into smooth, near-steady flow.
The bladder compresses during each pressure peak and expands between strokes to keep downstream pressure near constant.
Gauges, flow meters, transmitters, and valves are protected from pulsation damage and unstable readings.
Dampening pressure pulses reduces piping vibration, plant noise, and fatigue at joints and fittings.
PDP is not a pump. It is a passive pressure vessel accessory that must be paired with a reciprocating or positive displacement pump system.
Configure PDP Series
Select the pump type, vessel format, pressure range, and material preference for the PDP dampener. Final sizing depends on system pressure, flow, stroke frequency, and pulsation reduction target.

SELECTION GUIDE
Bladder type uses an elastomeric bladder inside the vessel. Diaphragm type uses a fixed diaphragm that flexes. Final selection depends on pressure, flow, fluid, and volume requirement.
SS is used for many chemical and hygienic systems, MS for non-corrosive hydraulic or water systems, and PP for corrosive chemical systems.
Every reciprocating pump system benefits from discharge-side dampening. PDP is the natural companion for HPD plunger and dosing systems.
