Always Submerged - Always Ready
Because OWS stays under the water surface, it starts without priming delay, suction-line air problems, or foot valve maintenance.
Horizontal water-filled submersible · 0.5 HP to 15 HP · Single & three phase · No priming, no foot valve, no foundation
The OWS Series horizontal openwell submersible pump from Shubham Industries, Ahmedabad, is a water-filled submersible pump set designed for permanent submerged operation in open wells, sumps, tanks, and ponds. Available from 0.5 HP to 15 HP in single phase (210V) and three phase (415V) execution, with 1-stage and 2-stage versions, the OWS covers heads up to 76 m and flow up to 2260 LPM. Because the pump always remains under water, it needs no priming, no foot valve, and no separate foundation. Cast iron and stainless steel construction are available, and special dirty-water configurations are reviewed on request. Manufactured at Kuha, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, ISO 9001:2015 certified since 1987.

OWS submerged-duty proof
Why Submersible
OWS works submerged below the water surface, so it does not need a priming cycle or suction-line foot valve. The water-filled motor stays cooled by the surrounding liquid, and installation can happen directly in the well, tank, or sump without a surface pump foundation.
Because OWS stays under the water surface, it starts without priming delay, suction-line air problems, or foot valve maintenance.
The water-filled motor uses surrounding water for cooling, supporting compact continuous-duty operation in open-well and tank installations.
OWS sits directly inside the water source, reducing civil work and eliminating the separate surface pump base normally required for utility pumping.

Available Arrangements

Standard submerged horizontal OWS arrangement for open wells, tanks, and water-storage applications.

Single phase OWS package supplied with matching panel-board arrangement for domestic and utility installations.

OWS is available in single phase and three phase execution to suit domestic, agricultural, and industrial power availability.
Construction options
Construction is selected around site water quality, corrosion exposure, and service expectations.
Stage selection
1-stage and 2-stage configurations are selected based on the final head and flow requirement.

Applications
Submerged pumping for decorative fountains, cascades, ponds, and garden water movement where no visible surface pump is wanted.
Residential, apartment, and building-service water lifting from open wells, underground tanks, and storage sumps.
Open-well and sump-fed water transfer for commercial facilities where simple submerged installation and lower maintenance are preferred.
Irrigation water lifting from open water sources where direct submerged operation avoids priming and suction-side civil work.
Industrial utility water and process-support water handling from open tanks or ponds for general plant services.
Special configurations for higher-pressure or dirtier water duty are reviewed on request. Standard OWS selection remains for clear to light-duty water.
OWS is designed for open wells, ponds, and tanks with clear to light-duty water. It is not a narrow borewell pump. For corrosive chemical sump duty, specify VSP. For surface self-priming duty, specify SPF or SPA. For dirty-water surface installation with solids, specify SPM. For hot oil or thermic fluid, specify TFC.
Selection Guide
SPF is a surface-mounted self-priming centrifugal pump. OWS is a fully submerged horizontal openwell pump. Choose OWS when the pump must remain permanently underwater.
View SPF SeriesVSP is a vertical sump process pump with the motor above grade for corrosive duty. OWS is fully submerged and intended for clear to light-duty water service.
View VSP SeriesCMB is a surface monoblock pump for utility water transfer. OWS is the correct choice where direct submerged open-well installation is preferred and no foundation is wanted.
