VSP Series

Vertical Sump Process Pumpfor Corrosive Chemicals and Slurry Transfer

Vertical motor-above-grade design · Zero metallic contamination · Up to 50 M³/hr · Up to 120 m head

The VSP Series vertical sump process pump from Shubham Industries, Ahmedabad, transfers corrosive chemicals, slurries, acids, and process fluids directly from sumps, pits, and tanks. The vertical design keeps the motor above grade while the pump column submerges into the fluid, eliminating suction piping, saving floor space, and supporting zero metallic contamination design for sensitive chemical duty. Column lengths from 1 ft to 12 ft are available, with flow up to 50 M³/hr, head up to 120 m, and high-temperature service up to 200°C. Multi-stage and duplex pumping station configurations are available on request. Manufactured at Kuha, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, ISO 9001:2015 certified since 1987.

WHY VERTICAL SUMP

The VSP Vertical Design for Corrosive Sump and Pit Duty

A horizontal end-suction pump requires suction piping, floor space, and a seal chamber in contact with fluid. A vertical sump pump submerges the pump column directly into the sump while the motor sits above grade. This gives motor-above-grade safety, zero suction piping, and zero metallic contamination design for corrosive or ultra-pure process duty.

1

Motor Above Grade

Motor and electrical parts remain above the sump, away from corrosive process liquid.

2

Zero Suction Piping

Direct sump, pit, tank, or vessel lid installation removes suction pipework and leak points.

3

Zero Metallic Contamination

Designed for non-adherence and zero metallic contamination where fluid purity matters.

SELECTION GUIDE

VSP Series vs Other Series

1

VSP vs CPP

CPP is surface-mounted horizontal chemical duty. VSP drops into the sump or pit, eliminating suction piping and floor space.

2

VSP vs SCC

SCC is above-grade end-suction process duty. VSP is correct for direct corrosive sump or pit pumping.

3

VSP vs SPM

SPM is surface-mounted self-priming dirty water duty. VSP is direct sump installation for corrosive fluid where suction piping is undesirable.
